About me

I am Michael Miller, a 27-years old photographer, hiking addict, guitarist, design furniture lover. Stanford graduate with a Master's Degree in Psychology, I love to operate at the crossroads of art direction, landscape photography, and phsychology to craft experiences that people will remember for a lifetime. I am devoted to capture the essence of my subjects and I am the best at noticing details that others may have missed.

In the last ten years, I have collaborated with various clients, from startups to world-renowned brands, to develop engaging adversiments, social media campaigns, and branding experiences that their customers love. I have gained invaluable experience process working with brands like Soylent, Acme, and Sportize and I am ready to put that knowledge at your service.

Over Classic with a twist

De klassieke hoedenvormen zoals de bolhoed, de fedora en de hoge hoed zijn heel geliefd. Afhankelijk van het materiaal en de keuze voor een bepaald ontwerp wordt het vilt door hete stoom gevormd en plantaardige materialen zoals sinamay door water. Het vormen vindt vaak plaats door gebruik te maken van mallen, maar kan ook met de hand gedaan worden. Hierna worden de onderdelen zo onzichtbaar mogelijk, met de hand, aan elkaar gezet.
Dit handwerk, maakt vele combinaties mogelijk, en toont het vakmanschap. Ook de keuze van versieringen zijn oneindig. Het is bepalend voor de totale uitstraling van de hoed en ze zijn de handtekening van de maker. In deze expositie ligt het accent op de combinatie van ambachtelijkheid en creativiteit.
